Firstly, Germaniiito, marketable Trinket
Also, wanted to do more designs on the waterworld species, the Cephals and the Chondrich.
I realized I was a fool, and the Nautilaut was designed so that its shell swirled in the opposite direction from real life Nautili. I decided on sticking to the more realistic design for future reference, but perhaps the counterswirl can be an alternate design for them in game or something. I also wanted to depict the Gonilaut shell plates running down its back, as I haven't covered that much. The shell on their head also has a second plate in a similar manner to horseshoe crabs.
The Chondrich, as you see on the bottom right, are a fish-adjacent species who reside alongside the Cephals. Their most notable feature is a giant, often bulbous crest atop their heads. While this is evolved from courtship, the crest is actually similar in structure to a muscle, being able to articulate with a soft bone-like exterior that would have made it a solid blunt weapon to defend itself from predators in the wild. In addition to their strong tails, while a Chondrich may not show the signature finesse of a Cephal, they make up for it with robust resolve. This makes the Chondrich and the Cephals proper rivals on their home planet.
